the west side of Laga Mountains, just along the border line between the
province of Rieti
and the province of Ascoli Piceno, there are the largest and most
beautiful forests of the whole Appennini range: the San Gerbone ones.
It is like entering in a wonderful forestall nursery, where species
like the beech, the white and the red, the black pine,
the larch, the poplar and the holly can be observed.
