is one of the most renowned and busy tourist resorts of the Adriatic Sea.
Every year the sea festival is held, during which fishermen usually fry
huge amounts of fish in a giant frying pan. Porto San Giorgio, though
having mainly a modern aspect, still preserves some ancient buildings,
dating back to the period when it was an outpost to the sea of the nearby
town of Fermo.
