Hotel Il Giglio

The Hotel Il Giglio is easily reached. When coming from the Adriatic coast, we suggest that you exit at the pay-point A14-Senigallia, taking the Arceviese eSP360, then turning right into the Corinaldese SP12.

The building is in the heart of Corinaldo. It was once convent of Augustinian monks, and its evocative spaces conserve the tranquility of its former life. The interior preserves the typical characteristics of the 18th century, with its high ceilings, wide vaults, vast corridors and beautiful narrow stairways.

The breakfast room was where the banquets were held, embellished with plasterwork and vaults giving it an atmosphere of elegance.

The windows of the three floors boast breathtaking views, and the corridors are large, light and airy, perfect for quiet reflection, reading a good book, or remembering the steps taken by the monks of another age.

Inside the building is the ancient cloister, which is today used as an ideal location for private functions, and for breakfast during the summer months.

The hotel has 24 rooms, all former monks’ cells, retaining a simple style but equipped with all the comforts of a three star hotel: TV, telephone, desk, private bathroom and a courtesy set, and hairdryer.

The Hotel Il Giglio is the perfect location for families, or small groups, who can book the large rooms which are able to sleep up to 5 people and equipped with two bathrooms.

On the ground floor, in the reception room, you can connect to the wireless network for free.
