Patrizia, when she first came here, just a short way from Fabriano (famous for its paper mills), wasn’t in fact going to open an Agriturismo. She wanted to set up a farm, to breed cattle, to cultivate wheat, to plant fruit orchards…"It will be called Gocce di Camarzano (Drops of Camarzano)". Patrizia thought while looking at the ponds the rain had formed around the house. The name was, in fact, slightly unusual for a farm, so Patrizia decided to put it apart. When she was to open the Agriturismo she had that same name ready to use.
Agriturismo Gocce di Camarzano is surrounded by 50ha of cultivated land. The Agriturismo is composed of six bedrooms (2 with kitchenette) a restaurant hall (open on Saturdays or on reservation). A beautiful library with separate reading room is the perfect setting for Arts shows. The barn is often used for meetings and exhibitions during the summer.
Gocce di Camarzano is meant to offer not only a relaxing and peaceful stay, but also the perfect place to enjoy Arts in all its expressions. Patrizia herself is an artist. The Agriturismo is embellished by her pictures depicting rural scenes and beautiful views of the countryside. She has then trimmed table cloths, and has even beautifully made the menu sheets of the restaurant.
