Il Tiglio, is a farm dominated by a characteristic rural house. It reminds of the recent rural past of Le Marche.

It can lodge up to 14 people, hosting them in four private apartments. Two of these lodgings (four bed sits all together) have been equipped to receive disabled people.

As there is no restaurant or bar, each apartment has been equipped with kitchenette. A large gazebo in the yard has been thought for breakfasts outside in harmony with nature.

The lodgings are connected with the central heating and are equipped with all modern comforts (fans, TV and frigobar). Internet connection and telephone are at hand in the hall on the ground floor.

A barbecue equipment is for the guests to use in order to exploit all the potential of the beautiful garden all around the farm house.

The country house is also perfect if you want your pets with you during your holiday. Pets are in fact welcome (if previously announced). A riding school is a few yards away. An horse ride among the gentle hills of Le Marche will be an unforgettable experience. 

The country house is not very far from other entertainment centres. Eldorado water park is in fact just 10 km off, in the Apiro area. If the weather is not sunny the public swimming pool in Moie village could be the solution together with the beauty centre and gym in Macine di Castelplanio. Golf lovers will have to get as far as Jesi, or to the beautiful Sirolo, where it will be possible to admire one of the most beautiful spots of all the Adriatic coast line.

How to get there

If travelling by car: Country House il Tiglio is within easy reach from the 76bis freeway that passes through the Esino Valley linking Ancona to Rome. If coming from the A14, exit at Ancona Nord, take the 76bis freeway towards Fabriano-Rome. Exit at “Apiro-Mergo”.

If coming from the opposite direction, always take the Apiro-Mergo exit.

As soon as you exit at Apiro-Mergo you will find the signals that will direct you towards Il Tiglio. The direction is the same as for the city centre of Mergo, after 5km, just a few hundred meters from the village you will see on your right the last signal to Il Tiglio. A 500 hundred meters drive among the local vegetation and you will reach the country house.

Ancona is well linked to all Europe thanks to its Raffaello Sanzio Airport and to the Port from which you will easily manage to get to the 76bis freeway.

The closest train stations to the Country House are the ones of Castelplanio or Serra San Quirico, just 10 km off.
