The complex ’
”Antica Fabbrica Laterizi” (Ancient brick-kiln) where
Coquus Fornacis is set, dates back to 1884. The circular plant makes it one of the most ancient examples of the Hoffman style brick-kilns. The place was abandoned in the ’70. It was later purchased and restored by a famous shoe firm of Le Marche.
”Antica Fabbrica Laterizi” is a marvellous piece of industrial archaeology. Inside Coquus Fornacis offers the chance of enjoying Le Marche traditional gastronomy reinterpreted in an original way. It is also possible to book an accommodation with breakfast included.
Coquus Fornacis also offers the chance of reserving a congress hall (sits 80). The ancient furnace will so become a dramatic location for breakfasts, banquets, ceremonies, events, fashion shows...
