The inviting Chignoni agritouristic complex is in an open
country setting, with over 200 hectares of meadows, biologically tilled fields, and wooded
areas where truffles and mushrooms can be found and gathered. The impressive 18
th
century structure includes a large country cottage which together with the owner's
residence, seems to recreate a small agricultural village typical of the Apennines area.
Cities of historical and cultural interest like Urbino, Gubbio, Assisi, Perugia and Arezzo
are not far from the Chignoni complex. The complex is located in the municipality of
Apecchio, known for its fossil museum; among important city landmarks, the Ubaldini
Palazzo and the famous bridge.
