Villa del Maccheroncino has been named after Campofilone. The town is in fact famous for Maccheroncini, a noble dish that was described as ‘traditional’ in letters dating back to 1400. The town developed around a Benedictine Abbey in the IX century. Campofilone stars a wonderful street that is all covered by a vaulted ceiling (Via degli Orti). The church was built in XIX century and has been decorated with frescoes portraying Saints by Fontana. It has also been enriched by precious curtains and marbles. Villa del Maccheroncino has been recently built, but it has not been completed. The property is just 1km far from the seaside and is located in panoramic and quiet position. The Villa (300sqm) develops on two floors and a loft. The property is surrounded by 2,000sqm of garden. Villa del Maccheroncino is on sale at 425,000€.
