Casale Rinaldo is located in the Acquaviva Picena Council. The town has great historical and artistic importance thanks to its Fortress built in 1200. Rinaldo, the master of the town, wanted it to be built to protect the only road that took to the sea from the inland. He had in fact understood that the strategic importance of Acquaviva Picena laid in its position. Francesco Sforza destroyed the Fortress in 1400. It was then rebuilt by the inhabitants of Acquaviva following the typical style of the First Renaissance in Italy. The town was characterized by bitter fights between the factions of Guelphs and Ghibellines for the control of the area. The magic and beauty of the place anciently caused death and destruction to the inhabitants of Acquaviva. The Captain of the Fortress gave leave to Giosia to enter the fortress in 1432. He had in fact asked to be admitted within the city walls because he wanted to move into the family mansion located in the fortress. He had guaranteed he would harm no one and that his only interest was living in the beautiful mansion. Unfortunately though as soon as he entered the gate he became violent and backed by his army killed all the inhabitants and the Captain himself and his army. The farmhouse is located just a short way from this town so rich in historical events and monuments. It develops on two floors for an average size of 270sqm. It is surrounded by 10,000sqm of hilly land. A large pond is set down valley within the property boundaries. Quiet and countryside is all around. The property that is in need of a total restoration is on sale at 100,000€.
