The large stone country house, ‘Rosa del Furlo,’ has been completely renovated with absolute respect for its environment and with particular attention to the quality of the materials and interior furnishings.
Furniture made of solid wood, tiled floors, wrought iron beds and spacious showers are just a few of the details that make a stay at Ca’ Maggio Nuovo particularly pleasurable.
Most striking, first of all, is the agritourism’s panoramic position. From here, sat on a bench underneath an age-old oak, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in Montefeltro.
The area is renowned for its breathtaking views and its gastronomic delights involving the famous Acqualagna white truffle, which is celebrated every year with an international fair that takes place between the end of October and November.
Ca’ Maggio Nuovo is the ideal place for those that want a holiday close to nature, in an atmosphere of authenticity and simplicity, but wish to stay close to the principal tourist destinations: Urbino, a World Heritage Site and city of art; the Adriatic Riviera with its vast white beaches; Gradara, with its castle, famous for the story of Paolo and Francesca; Urbania and the majolica of Castel Durante; San Leo and the neighbouring Republic of San Marino, Frasassi Caves and Gola del Furlo Natural Reserve; and finally, Tuscany and Umbria closeby.
You can have perfect autonomy in one of the building’s five apartments, all equipped with a private outdoor space which allows you to enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
Also available are an outside swimming pool and a spacious sunbathing area.
The Locanda di Gabi, a recently launched restaurant, opens its portico over the valley below and offers traditional dishes with zero food miles with products from the organic vegetable garden.
We also recommend taking part in the numerous initiatives that Gabi and Silvio will suggest to you; for example, making homemade pasta or wood oven-cooked pizza.
