In
the heart of Italy, between Marche and Umbria, there are the stately Monti
Sibillini with more than twenty peaks of over 2000 metres of altitude, up
to 2476 m. with Mount Vettore. Founded in 1993, the park extends over an
area of 70000 hectares. It has been moulded by millennia of history and
